A child fell out of a window on the 7th floor of an apartment building in Simferopol.
The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and the Crimean Prosecutor’s Office are conducting an investigation into the injury of an eight-year-old schoolgirl who fell from the window of an apartment on the seventh floor.
The incident happened on the evening of March 30 in a house on Balaklavskaya Street at a time when the child was left alone in the apartment — the mother went down into the yard for a few minutes, and the girl opened the window to look at her— reported in Sledkom.
The child is currently in hospital in a stable and serious condition.
The family in which the schoolgirl is being raised is not registered with the prevention authorities and is characterized positively. At the same time, the cause of the incident was again the negligent attitude of adults towards children’s safety.
