The prosecutor's office dealt with both the mud slide on the Yuzhnoberezhnoe Highway in Yalta and the illegal construction

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Crimea conducted an inspection in connection with a soil collapse in the area of Yuzhnoberezhnoe Highway 2-B in Yalta.

It was established that, as a result of illegal excavation work at the above address, an emergency situation arose. In connection with the improper organization of municipal land control, the prosecutor’s office of the city of Yalta made a representation to the head of the local administration— reported the prosecutor’s office.

Nothing new? The fact that the cause of the slope collapse was construction, said earlier Head of the Yalta Administration Yanina Pavlenko. She also confirmed that the construction itself, to put it mildly, was unauthorized.

The work was carried out without permits. The house on the neighboring plot was under threat — the collapse approached it at a dangerous distance. But this four-story building is controversial — according to the papers, 100 square meters were intended for a garage. The growing “colossus” gave additional stress. People purchased the building a year ago, in their words, as a residential buildingtold in January Pavlenko.

Demolish? The city authorities, of course, have powers, but with the decision of the prosecutor’s office — for sure. However, most likely, and even certainly, the owner of the “new building” has his own truth.
