In Yevpatoriya, in the Frunze Park, there is a sports ground. And everything would be fine: there are exercise machines, supposedly for people with limited mobility… But! People complain about the condition of the exercise machines and the sports ground itself. As the prosecutor’s office clarified, the absence of components necessary for the operation of sports equipment, as well as the presence of multiple damages to the equipment, was revealed.
At the same time, the municipal budgetary institution «Sports Palace» of Yevpatoria did not take measures to equip this sports ground in accordance with the standards. A representation was made to the institution, which was reviewed and satisfied. The guilty persons were brought to disciplinary responsibility— the supervisory authority clarified.
The utility workers have carried out «correction work». The sharp parts of the damaged elements of the exercise machines have been isolated and dismantled on the sports ground. Some of the sports equipment has been repaired and restored. The work to bring this sports ground into proper condition continues.
