The prosecutor's office in Simferopol did not allow the eviction of a citizen from the only housing that was taken over by scammers
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Simferopol, the prosecutor’s office of the Zheleznodorozhny district took part in the court’s consideration of the case of the eviction of an elderly man from his home. The stated demands were motivated by the fact that the defendant sold the apartment he owned, but continued to live in it, which served as the basis for the new owner to go to court.
During the consideration of the civil case, it was established that the elderly man issued a power of attorney to citizens, as it turned out later, acquaintances of the plaintiff to enter information into the register, but was not aware that the power of attorney indicated the authority to alienate property. Without the man’s knowledge, the power of attorney was reissued in favor of a third party. He did not receive any money from the sale of the apartment and had no intention of selling his only home. Based on this fact, a criminal case has been initiated for fraud.— reported the supervisory agency.
The prosecutor’s office, in the interests of the citizen, filed a lawsuit to declare the transaction invalid and to reclaim property from someone else’s illegal possession. The case is pending in court.
