The prosecutor's office initiates a criminal case on illegal felling of trees in Yalta

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The prosecutor’s office checked information from social networks about cutting down trees on Mukhina Street in Yalta (near the driving school).

It was established that green plantings were illegally cut down in the specified area of ​​the area, the removal of which was not provided for by the logging ticket. The damage caused by the destruction of two trees and shrubs is over 200 thousand rubles— reported in the supervisory department.

Based on the results of the audit, her materials were sent to the investigating authority to initiate a criminal case under Art. 260 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal logging of green spaces). The course of the procedural check is controlled by the prosecutor’s office.
