As we already reporteda fire broke out in the Simferopol shopping center «Lotsman» yesterday evening. It was completely extinguished only this morning. The area of ​​the fire was 500 square meters. There were no victims, but the roof of the shopping center partially collapsed. Investigators and prosecutors are working on the scene.

The Crimean Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into a fire in a shopping center in the city of Simferopol– the supervisory authority reported. — Acting Prosecutor of the Central District of Simferopol Pavel Dashkovsky arrived at the scene. During the organized supervisory activities, an assessment will be made of compliance with fire safety requirements when organizing trade activities.

Preliminary: the source of the fire was on the 3rd floor, where welding work was being carried out.
