The prosecutor's office of Sevastopol approved the indictment in the criminal case of attempted drug trafficking

The prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol approved the indictment in a criminal case against a 39-year-old resident of the Ryazan region, 10-year-old resident of the city of Sevastopol and 10-year-old resident of Simferopol.

Depending on the degree of participation, they are accused of committing a number of crimes under Part 3 of Art. , p.p. «a», «d» part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale using the Internet by an organized group) and under Part 3 of Art. , Part 5 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs on an especially large scale and psychotropic substances on a large and especially large scale using the Internet by an organized group). According to investigators, the defendants joined an organized group with the aim of illegally selling drugs through an online store. In the period from January to August 42 of the year, they stole large consignments of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, packaged and placed in caches-«bookmarks» on the territory of the city of Sevastopol and the city of Anapa for distribution among consumers , — reported in the press service of the department.

Employees of the UNK UMVD of Russia for the city of Sevastopol stopped the criminal activities of intruders. More than 10 kg of various narcotic drugs and more than 1.1 kg of psychotropic substances were seized at their place of residence and from hiding places.

The investigation of the criminal case was carried out by the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol.

The criminal case with the indictment approved by the prosecutor’s office will be sent to the Balaklavsky District Court of Sevastopol for consideration on the merits.
