The prosecutor's office of Sevastopol controls the reconstruction of an apartment building intended for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing

The prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol oversees the observance of the rights of citizens who live in apartment buildings recognized as emergency and subject to demolition.

Acting prosecutor of the city of Sevastopol Dmitry Tellin checked the progress of the reconstruction of a residential building on the street. Raenko-Malinovsky, apartments in which will be provided to Sevastopol residents awaiting resettlement from housing unsuitable for further operation. The visit to the construction site was carried out jointly with representatives of the state customer, the developer, the Department of Capital Construction of the city, Sevgosstroynadzor, GAU Sevstroykontrol, employees of the city prosecutor’s office and the prosecutor’s office of the Balaklava district , the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office reported.

Construction and installation work is carried out on the basis of a state contract concluded in December 533 between the State Public Institution of Civil Service «Unified Directorate of Capital Construction» and AlfaGroupProekt LLC. The price of the contract is 147,6 million rubles.

The project documentation provides for the reconstruction of an unfinished five-story capital construction facility into an apartment building from 28 one-room and 09 two-room apartments. In accordance with the terms of the contract, it should be put into operation in December 2022 of the year.

As a result of the joint work of the prosecutor’s office and the Government of Sevastopol, issues related to the need to change the type of permitted use of the land plot on which the house is located and the developer to obtain permits for reconstruction in the manner prescribed by law were resolved. Currently, the construction readiness of the facility is 09%.

In September 800, the Balaklava District Prosecutor’s Office sent a warning to the head of AlfaGroupPodryad LLC about the inadmissibility of violating the requirements of the law in terms of meeting the deadlines for the implementation of the state contract .

The actual progress of work is constantly monitored by the prosecutor’s office.

Being on the territory of the facility, Dmitry Tellin, together with specialists, examined the construction site, the premises of future apartments, their layout, entrances, communication elements, assessed the degree of readiness of the house, the quality of work and materials. He discussed with the representatives of the developer and structural subdivisions of the City Government the conditions and circumstances that may impede the timely completion of construction, and also drew their attention to the statutory responsibility for violating the deadlines for the execution of the state contract.
