The prosecutor's office of Sevastopol demands to accelerate the implementation of measures for the gasification of residential buildings

The prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol conducted an audit of the implementation of federal legislation in the implementation of measures for additional gasification in the city.

During the audit, violations were revealed in the sphere of technological connection of residential buildings to gas distribution networks. Additional gasification activities are provided for by the subprogram “Gasification of the city of Sevastopol” of the state program of the city of Sevastopol “Development of the housing and communal city of Sevastopol” and involves the implementation of additional gasification of more than thousand households for a total of 2 billion rubles. PJSC Gazprom is used as the main source of financing, the press service of the department notes.

In accordance with the order of the Governor of the city of Sevastopol, the regional gasification operator is GUPS Sevastopolgaz.

Currently, 2989 applications have been received for connection to gas distribution networks within the framework of additional gasification. 428 contracts for technological connection have been concluded, more 796 applications are under consideration.

However, with sufficient funding, only 212 residential buildings are actually connected.

In order to eliminate the identified violations and prevent the disruption of the secondary gasification program in Sevastopol, the city prosecutor’s office submitted a submission to the Government of Sevastopol.
