In Simferopol, after the intervention of the prosecutor’s office, students of KFU. Vernadsky was paid an unreceived scholarship in the amount of 2.2 million rubles.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Simferopol conducted an audit of compliance with the requirements of the legislation on education in the activities of the Crimean Federal University. V. I. Vernadsky. Violations were revealed in the scholarship provision of students. Thus, it was established that the balance of the university includes payments not received by students through the cash desk.

In view of the violation of the rights of students who are unable to receive the scholarship payments due to them on a bank card, the prosecutor’s office made a submission to the university— the press service of the supervisory department reports.

At the request of the prosecutor’s office, the educational institution paid out the 338 students who did not receive a scholarship in the total amount of 2.2 million rubles.
