On behalf of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, inspections were organized to suppress violations in pricing.
Prosecutors of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation have been instructed, in cooperation with antimonopoly and other authorized bodies, to carry out supervisory inspections of the activities of producers of chicken eggs and retailers of these goods, the average retail price of which has increased by more than 40% over the year.— reported the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Based on the results of inspections for all identified violations, comprehensive response measures will be taken to protect the rights of citizens from unreasonable price increases.
This is relevant for Crimea. The price of a dozen eggs is confidently approaching two hundred rubles (an increase of more than 100%).
