The Public Chamber of Crimea promises to ensure the purity and transparency of the Russian Presidential elections

On December 22, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation held an All-Russian meeting online on the start of the election campaign and the work of regional public headquarters.
The event was attended by the Public Chamber of Crimea: Deputy Head of the permanent regional public headquarters for monitoring the elections of the President of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea, Director of the Crimean branch of the Federal Research Social Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Political Sciences Vladimir Uzunov, regional expert public headquarters, President of the Crimean Lawyers Association, lawyer of the Crimean Republican Bar Association Teyfuk Gafarov, member of the regional public headquarters, deputy chairman of the Commission of the OP RK on health and social policy Natalya Reznichenko. The head of the internal policy department of the Ministry of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic of Crimea, Dmitry Kucherenko, was also invited to participate in the meeting.
During the event, special attention was paid to the deployment and methodological support of a system for monitoring compliance with the electoral rights of citizens during the preparation and conduct of the presidential elections of the Russian Federation in 2024, issues of recruiting and training public observers, as well as issues of countering and neutralizing possible provocations and false publications in foreign Media and Internet— reported the OP RK.
It is emphasized that currently, with the active participation of public councils of municipalities and partners of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea, more than 2,000 candidates for observers have already been selected, who will be officially appointed by the Public Chamber of Crimea. Active work is being carried out to prepare for their training.
