The quest “Elections are a family matter!” took place in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Youth Electoral Commission (YEC) of Sevastopol held a quest dedicated to familiarization with the electoral process.
The event for Sevastopol families took place in the children’s technopark «Kvantorium», more than 30 people participated in it. Before the start of the quest stations, members of the MIC told the teams about the basic principles of the Russian electoral system, the role of the Central Election Commission in the election process, forms of voting and the upcoming elections in the region. Then, according to the route sheets, the participants moved around the stations, answering questions and completing tasks on topics of electoral law.
For example, at the «Speakers’ Station» the teams listened to quotes from famous politicians, guessed the authors, explained the meaning of the statement in 2 minutes and expressed their attitude to it. And at the «Code Labyrinth Station» the cohesion of the players was tested: parents and children independently went through the labyrinth, at the end of which it was necessary to collect a word on the election theme.
Family teams spent several hours participating in interesting discussions about the role of adults and youth in the country’s political life, and took part in fun quizzes and exciting challenges. We are grateful to everyone who came. Such activity inspires us to make participation in elections interesting and meaningful for every Sevastopol resident!— the press service quotes the Chairman of the Northern Election Commission Nikita Tsan.
