The readiness of the embankment of the new route to the Crimean Bridge from the Krasnodar Territory is more than 80%

Construction is being carried out within the framework of the national project “Safe and Quality Roads”.

The embankment of the new route from the Krasnodar Territory, bypassing some settlements to the Crimean Bridge, is more than 80% complete; the work is planned to be completed by the end of 2024. This is reported in Telegram channel Government of the Republic of Crimea.

The new entrance to the Crimean Bridge will be completed by the end of 2024. The embankment of the future highway A-289 «Krasnodar — Slavyansk-on-Kuban — Temryuk — Novorossiysk — Kerch» is 81% complete. Builders have already installed supports for 32 artificial structuresthe message says.

It is specified that the route will be equipped with traffic dividers and the necessary lighting. Construction is being carried out within the framework of the national project “Safe and Quality Roads”.

TASS reminds: construction of the new route started in 2021. The route will be four-lane, its length will be 119 km, it will bypass populated areas, the estimated throughput of the route will be 40 thousand cars per day, the construction will include the installation of new bridges across rivers, ten multi-level interchanges and other artificial structures.

After the opening of the bridge across the Kerch Strait, the load on the highways in the Krasnodar Territory has increased significantly: tourists travel along them to the Republic of Crimea and carry cargo. The construction of the new route is intended to relieve congestion on the existing road and reduce travel time to the Crimean Bridge.
