The regional branch of the Social Fund of Russia will take into account the Sevastopols «Ukrainian» experience

From July 1, 2025, new rules are entered into force* for calculating pensions of citizens who have experience in Ukraine, Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions.

This applies to those who worked:

• From January 1, 1991 to February 23, 2022 in Ukraine;
• From May 11, 2014 to December 31, 2022 in the DPR, LPR;
• From February 24 to December 31, 2022 in the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions.

When assigning a pension, an individual pension coefficient equal to 1 for each full calendar year of work in these territories will be taken into account. If the period of work is less than a year, the coefficient will be calculated in proportion.

If a citizen receives a pension, and at the same time his work experience after January 1, 1991 was not taken into account in Ukraine, he may submit an application for recalculation. The pension will be recalculated taking into account new provisions starting from the 1st of the month following the month in which the application has been accepted.

If, before the new rules entered into force, the citizen was denied a pension due to a lack of length of service, he needs to file a new application for a pension. At the same time, it is not necessary to submit documents again, since they are at the disposal of the Department of SFR.

Recalculation will be carried out on the basis of documents (work book, contracts, etc.) issued by employers or state (municipal) bodies, or information contained in a pension case. If such documents are absent or not the opportunity to confirm the periods of work officially, the interdepartmental commission may recognize the experience on the basis of other documents.

Applications for assigning or recalculating a pension, as well as applications in the Interdepartmental Commission are accepted in the client services of the regional branch of the SFR.

The working Sevastopol residents who have experience in these territories may submit an application to adjust the information of the individual personal account on the public service portal.
