In Sevastopol, the results of the regional championship «Abilimpics» of the presidential platform «Russia — a country of opportunities» were summed up. Abilympics is a platform for developing the professional skills of people with disabilities and disabilities, where, competing with each other, they overcome their own fears and insecurities. Participants competed in mastery in 16 competencies. Among them are massage, cooking, cake decorating, web design, psychology, silk painting and others.
Throughout the championship, the participants were accompanied by mentors: teachers, masters of industrial training and all those who work in educational institutions. Dear teachers, please accept our most sincere thanks. Without your lessons, instructions, genuine interest, the guys would not have been able to overcome so many challenges and reach such heights. Your dedication to work and students makes you real heroes. I want to congratulate the guys again and note that they are all great fellows. This year, the competitions were held at seven competition venues — the Sevastopol Professional Art College, the Sevastopol College of Service and Trade, the Sevastopol Medical College named after Zhenya Deriugina, the Sevastopol College of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the Sevastopol State University, the Institute for the Development of Education, the Sevastopol branch of the All-Russian Society of the Blind.
I participated in the nomination «Preschool Education». The test consisted of two stages: organizing and conducting an outdoor game for children and conducting a didactic game aimed at developing speech in preschoolers. I did a good job and am very satisfied with myself. The winners of the regional championship will join the Sevastopol team and go to the finals of the Abilympics National Championship, which will be held in Moscow in December 2023.
