The regional competition “Best Entrepreneur of Crimea” will be held in the Republic of Crimea on the basis of the “My Business” Center

In the Republic of Crimea, the regional competition “Best Entrepreneur of Crimea” will be held at the “My Business” Center. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko following a meeting on the preparation and holding of the event.

Since 2023, in the Republic of Crimea, on the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea, within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises”, a regional competition “Best Entrepreneur of Crimea” has been held on the basis of the “My Business” Center.

The purpose of the competition is to develop entrepreneurship by identifying and replicating successful practices, popularizing entrepreneurship, and increasing the social significance of entrepreneurial activity.

Competitions bring together young and experienced entrepreneurs who are now actively helping the new generation, and our competition found a very warm response among Crimean entrepreneurs. Last year it was held for the first time and Crimean individual entrepreneurs, heads of organizations, as well as self-employed took part in it — more than 150 applications were submitted— said Irina Kiviko.

The winners of the competition received media support, the filming of a commercial about their business, as well as gifts and prizes from the competition’s partners and the republic’s entrepreneurship support institutions.

This year the competition is planned to be held from April to May and will consist of 2 stages: absentee evaluation of applications and in-person defense of competition participants (testing, management duel and business game).

The award ceremony for the winners of the competition is planned to take place from May 24 to May 27. The competition includes nine nominations: “Young Entrepreneur”, “Innovative Breakthrough”, “Best in Manufacturing”, “Women’s Entrepreneurship”, “Best in Hospitality”, “Best in Trade”, “Best in Business”, “Family Entrepreneurship» and a special nomination — «Best support for SVO».

The main evaluation criteria will be: financial indicators, number of jobs, competitiveness, investment attractiveness, innovative approach, history of business formation, business activity, management abilities, social significance, independence from government sources of funding, promotion tools, scalability and personal brand.

After all, such competitions for entrepreneurs are always new opportunities to exchange business experience and strengthen their reputation.
