The Regional Office of the SFR has adjusted the pensions of Sevastopol pensioners who worked last year
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On August 1, the Sevastopol Branch of the SFR made an unannounced recalculation of insurance pensions for pensioners who worked in 2023. The adjustment of payments affected all recipients of old-age and disability pensions for whom employers paid insurance contributions last year.
In addition, payments to recipients of survivor’s pensions were increased if funds not previously taken into account when assigning payments were received into the personal account of the person in connection with whose loss the pension was issued.
Unlike traditional indexation, in which the pension size is increased by a fixed coefficient, the August recalculation depends on the pensioner’s salary: the higher it is, the larger the pension. The maximum increase is three pension coefficients.
In August, we adjusted the pensions of 27,384 pensioners. Like all planned annual pension increases, the recalculation was automatic, so Sevastopol residents did not need to apply anywhere. The increased pension in August will be received according to the schedule, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the manager of the Department of the Social Fund of Russia for Sevastopol, Elena Gaivoronskaya.
From 2025, the Social Fund will resume indexation of pensions for all working pensioners. The first indexation of pensions will take place in February next year. The Sevastopol branch of the Social Fund will recalculate automatically. The increase in pensions for working pensioners will be carried out on a general basis with non-working pensioners, taking into account inflation for the previous year.
You can find out the amount of your payment by calling 8 800 100-00-01, contacting the second line operator, a specialist of the SFR Department in Sevastopol. You can call from Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 18:00 and on Friday from 09:00 to 16:45 without a break.
