The regional stage of the All-Russian competition «Teacher of the Year of Russia — 2023» ended in Sevastopol

The final test of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition «Teacher of the Year of Russia — 2023» was a master class. It was attended by six teachers — Russian language teacher and school No. 30 Elena Vorobieva, mathematics teacher of the Engineering School Erlan Kadyrov, English teacher of gymnasium No. 7 Anastasia Kelbas, history teacher of gymnasium No. 8 Nikolai Kuzmin, history and social studies teacher of school No. 43 Anastasia Lepetyukhina , teacher of chemistry at the educational center «Bay Kazachya» Rafael Sayfutdinov. They successfully passed the previous tests — this is a media business card, a lesson and an educational event.

It is always difficult to evaluate the actions of teachers. How can you show all the skill and even part of your soul in a short competitive period of time? But you did! Children, parents are behind you, and I am sincerely convinced that throughout the competition you felt the support of your classes, colleagues and school authorities, and this support will be with you throughout your pedagogical path, — addressed the finalists and. The contestants today also discussed current challenges in the field of education and looked for ways to solve modern problems, talked about the need for homework and the importance of observing the school dress code. In addition, in the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, the image of the teacher and his main qualities become an especially important topic.

After the discussion, the winner of the regional stage of the competition «Teacher of the Year of Russia — 2023» was announced. Rafael Sayfutdinov, a chemistry teacher at the Cossack Bay educational center, became the winner. The teacher took part in the competition for the third time.

My master class within the framework of the competition is devoted to the topic of mentoring. I gave examples from my own life, recalled my childhood, the way I watched filmstrips, my parents taught me to read, describe pictures. I wanted to focus on the fact that for each person a close person, a teacher, a master can be a mentor, but for me the main mentors are my parents. They brought up two teachers: my older sister is also a teacher, for about 20 years. Since childhood, I remember how my mother talked about the school, about what knowledge you can get here, answers to exciting questions. Mom described the school and said: «I so dreamed of becoming a teacher.» And now my mother’s dream came true in children — me and my sister— notes the winner of the regional stage.

Rafael Sayfutdinov will represent Sevastopol in the All-Russian competition «Teacher of the Year of Russia — 2023». In total, 17 teachers took part in the regional stage.
