In the Kerch region, members of the military-patriotic detachment “Remember” of the Crimean Frontier PA of DOSAAF Russia discovered the remains of seven Red Army soldiers. According to the portal KERCH.COM.RU, search engines took advantage of the New Year’s weekend to search for the defenders of Crimea who died in the Great Patriotic War. On January 2, work was carried out to raise the dead soldiers of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army.
The whole day was spent on the mine. I was pleased with the soil right from the start — a salt marsh that had dried out a couple of centimeterssaid the search engines.
They reported that they made three excavations, two of which contained one fighter. Among them, “suicide bomber medallions”—personal identification marks—were found. One of them was damaged and empty, and the second was damaged, but with paper, which was immediately delivered to Kerch to Natalya Dzyuba, the person conducting a quick search in archival documents. An interesting mirror was also found on one of the fighters.
They worked on the third excavation until late in the evening, as it turned out that several people were lying in the ground; in the end, five fighters were raised. We found one damaged empty LOZ, as well as personal belongings: a green enamel mug from Lysvenskaya, a damaged small sapper blade, 3 overcoat buttons. In the place where the fighters were found, a large number of spent PPSh and rifle cartridges and many fragments were found, which makes it possible to imagine how hot their last battle was. On January 2, seven Red Army soldiers were discovered and exhumed.
They will be reburied with full military honors.the search engines reported.
