The Republic of Crimea and Kabardino-Balkaria intend to cooperate in the joint development of resorts and tourism

The Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea takes an active part in the International Travel Forum «Travel!» The forum business events present the achievements and tourist potential of the Russian regions, delegations from 30 countries of the world are also involved in the forum.
As part of the forum, an agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism between the Republic of Crimea and Kabardino-Balkaria was signed by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Gansiy and Minister of Kurortes and Tourism of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic of Asker Bifov. The strengthening of interregional ties and the development of tourism in Crimea and Kabardino-Balkaria will become an important factor in the socio-economic development of the regions.
The objectives of the agreement relate to the joint development of tourism in the regions, information cooperation, and the exchange of experience in introducing successful practices in the sanatorium-resort and tourism industries, the development of traditional and the discovery of new tourist routes, create favorable conditions for increasing tourist exchange and improving the quality of excursion and tourist services. In addition, the republics agreed to provide mutual assistance in the training of professional personnel for work in the field of tourist-hotel business and resort business and conduct on a mutual basis, introductory tours for managers of large tourist enterprises, trade union organizations, industrial enterprises, as well as the media.
Strengthening the connections between our regions will open up new opportunities for using the natural and cultural wealth of Crimea and Kabardino-Balkaria. Crimea as a marine and healing resort with the richest historical heritage, Elbrus and Nalchik, as ski and balneological resorts are of great interest for scientific exchange and practical cooperation in the field of recreational activity. I am sure that the inhabitants of our republics will be interested in traveling to each other. In our tasks — to create even more comfortable conditions for this, ”said Sergey Gansiy.
According to Asker Bifov, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic has something to adopt the experience of Crimea in the development of tourism, as well as Kabardino-Balkaria is ready to share the accumulated experience of balne-resorts, mountain, sports, pedestrian tourism.
