The Republic of Crimea hosts the All-Russian Employment Fair for the second time
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A large-scale event uniting the entire country is held in two stages: regional and federal. The regional stage in the Republic of Crimea takes place on April 11 and 12, and the federal stage will take place on June 28.
All-Russian Employment Fair “Work in Russia. Time of Opportunities» brings together job seekers and employers operating in the most popular sectors of the economy on the peninsula: healthcare and construction, service and hospitality, agriculture and education. The main goal of the fair is not only to quickly resolve the issue of personnel shortages, quickly select a job, but also to help in career planning. Along with vacancies, all current opportunities of a modern employment service are presented at the fair sites.
Particular attention at the fair is paid to the younger generation. A Festival of Professions is being held for school youth, the final of which was the Republican competition of propaganda teams “It is necessary to make a choice: to work for the benefit of our beloved Crimea.” On April 11, at the Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky, the best teams of propaganda teams from among students of educational institutions of the republic presented the most popular specialties and professions in the republic. Also, platforms were organized for student youth where specialties and professions for seasonal employment were presented. Students can choose the professions of a counselor, builder, waiter, bartender, cook, maid, junior nurse and, having completed free vocational training, subsequently work and get their first work experience. For this purpose, the Crimean regional branch of Russian student groups works. More than three thousand young people this year plan to work in student teams of the Republic of Crimea in children’s camps, on construction sites, in leading hotels, in harvesting, as conductors of passenger cars, junior medical personnel, etc.
The All-Russian Employment Fair and its holding in Crimea makes it possible to increasingly reach and attract young people into the workforce. If in 2023 one and a half thousand people worked in the ranks of student brigades, then this year we plan to double the number of student brigades. This is facilitated by thematic platforms of job fairs and employment fairs with interactive content. We consider it very right to revive the propaganda team competition. This will allow schoolchildren to become more deeply and interestingly acquainted with interesting professions and make their professional choice., — notes Vladimir Kaidansky, head of the Crimean regional branch of Russian student groups.
