The Republic of Crimea is in the top 20 in terms of the number of applications for the XXI All-Russian competition “My Country – My Russia”

In 2024, young people from 14 to 35 years old will take part in the competition “My Country — My Russia” of the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”, presenting original projects in 13 categories, covering almost the entire range of issues of socio-economic development of Russian territories. The competition has 12 nominations for adults and one special nomination for children under 13 years old — “Magic Threads of the Pedigree.” Moreover, in two nominations – “My pedagogical initiative” and “My family: continuity, values ​​and meanings” there are no age restrictions.

This season, the competition works will be assessed by 2,970 experts who have passed qualified testing and are ready to begin evaluating the works.

During the application campaign, more than 200 regional presentations were made by members of the alumni association, experts and partners of the competition, which indicates widespread interest in the project among residents of various regions of our country. The events helped participants learn more about the competition, ask questions and receive useful advice from alumni and experts.

In total, in 2024, the organizers received 55,321 applications from all regions of Russia, as well as from nine foreign countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan and other countries.

The main idea of ​​the competition “My Country – My Russia” is to involve young people in solving pressing issues of socio-economic development of Russian regions.

The correspondence examination of projects will last until the end of October. Each application is checked by at least three experts, and in case of controversial situations, an additional review of the work is assigned. To ensure the most objective assessment, experts are prohibited from reviewing the work of participants from their region. After the correspondence examination of the projects, participants will be presented with a face-to-face presentation of the projects.

The awarding of the winners of the XXI competition will be held for the first time in the format of an educational intensive with the support of the Mashuk Knowledge Center in December 2024.

Upon completion of the competition track, the participants will remain in the orbit of the project. Thanks to the post-competition support program, finalists and winners continue to exchange experiences; they create and implement new initiatives, which often acquire a federal scale.
