The Republic of Crimea is in the top 25 regions of Russia by the number of registrations for the All-Russian competition “Start the Game”

Registration for the second season of the “Start the Game” project has been completed presidential platform “Russia – the land of opportunities”. In just five months of the registration campaign, 91,281 people from 89 regions of Russia and 24 friendly states submitted applications. The Republic of Crimea is represented by 1,251 participants. The all-Russian competition “Start the Game” is being implemented within the framework of the federal project “Social elevators for everyone” of the national project “Education”.
The “Start the Game” project is being implemented in two directions. As part of the “Partnership Case,” participants could master one of the professions in the gaming industry. The “Game Projects Accelerator” has brought together experienced teams who are striving to implement their own game product and find an investor.
Among 91,281 participants, 67,923 people chose the gaming industry profession. Game design is the most popular, with 35,540 registered users studying it. 15,621 people mastered design, 11,374 people mastered Unity development. 8,571 participants were introduced to gamification.
The final of the second season of the All-Russian competition “Start the Game” is scheduled for March 2024 as part of the International multi-sport tournament “Future Games”. The proposal of the ambassador of the “Start the Game” project Anna Kozlova to unite these largest platforms was supported by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the ANO “Russia – Land of Opportunities”, Russian President Vladimir Putin. It was noted that the tandem of “Start a Game” and “Games of the Future” will create the largest platform in Russia dedicated to the gaming industry and e-sports, and will unite game developers, experts, e-sports players, professionals, amateurs, gamers and bloggers.
The Technopark in the field of high technologies “IT Park” in Kazan was chosen as the venue for the final of the All-Russian competition “Start the Game”. In addition to the final competitive tests, young video game creators will attend lectures, workshops and educational sessions with representatives of the public sector and gaming industry experts. The business program is planned to be held in an open format — everyone will be able to attend it for free.
