The Republic of Crimea retained its place in the top five of the National Tourism Rating

At the end of 2023, the Republic of Crimea entered the top five leaders of the National Tourism Rating. The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced this in his Telegram channel.

The rating is compiled annually by analysts from the Rating Information Communications Center and the Holiday in Russia magazine, based on statistical data, media publications and comments from federal and regional experts. The criteria for assessing the development of the tourism industry in Russian regions, their tourist attractiveness and potential were the level of development of hotel infrastructure, the profitability of the industry, its contribution to the economy of the subject, the tourist uniqueness and attractiveness of the region, the promotion of tourism potential in the information space, tourist flow and other indicators.

The first group of the “Leaders” rating included the city of Moscow, the Moscow region, the Krasnodar Territory, the city of St. Petersburg and the Republic of Crimea.

The result was achieved despite all the difficulties, primarily logistical ones. This became possible thanks to the interaction between business and government, the high professionalism of everyone involved in the industry– emphasizes the Head of Crimea.

Sergey Aksyonov also expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea for their effective work.
