The Republican Iftar of the Mufti of the Muslims of Crimea took place
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The annual Republican iftar from the Mufti of Muslims of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Haji Emirali Ablaev, was held in Simferopol. The evening breaking of the fast was attended by district imams from all over Crimea, representatives of local religious communities, public, cultural figures and entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of the national and cultural autonomies of Armenians, Bulgarians, Greeks, Tatars, and Azerbaijanis.
Mufti of Crimea Hajj Emirali Ablaev greeted the iftar guests:
The holy month of Ramadan is coming to an end. For a month we kept the Oraza fast and improved in worship. May the Almighty accept all our prayers. After the month of Ramadan ends, we must continue to worship. I would like to thank our imams who held iftars and terawih prayers in their areas, and also gave the parishioners the opportunity to fully enjoy the Holy month. We sometimes underestimate the role of our religious workers, but they do a lot for our society. Their work is difficult to overestimate. Today at Iftar we are joined by representatives of different faiths and nationalities living in Crimea. Our unity and good neighborliness is the key to the prosperity of Crimea. I would like to express my special gratitude to the women who, over the course of a month, created favorable conditions in their homes and for their families to observe fasting and the requirements of the Holy month. May the Almighty accept our good deeds and allow us to celebrate the holiday of Eid al-Adha, — said Hadji Emirali Ablaev.
The evening of breaking the fast was accompanied by religious chants performed by the Crimean Tatar folk ensemble “Kyrym”.
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (Tavrichesky Muftiyat) holds an all-Crimean iftar for the 25th time.
