The Republican patriotic action “Crimean student landing of the Russian North Ossetia” started in Simferopol

Today in Simferopol the opening of the Republican patriotic action “Crimean student landing of the Russian North Ossetia” took place as part of the All-Russian patriotic action “Snow landing of the Russian North Ossetia” in 2024. It should be clarified that since there is no snow in Crimea, our action is called “Crimean student landing of the Russian North Ossetia”.

The event was attended by the head of the administration of Simferopol Mikhail Afanasyev, the chairman of the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea Alexey Zinchenko, the director of the Capital Parks Municipal Budgetary Institution Roman Filipenko, the head of the Crimean regional branch of the RSO Vladimir Kaidansky, as well as representatives of higher educational institutions of Simferopol.

The action is carried out with the support of the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea, the administration of Simferopol, the Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky, Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov and the All-Russian Youth Public Organization “Russian Student Teams”. Implemented using funds won from the Second Grant Competition of the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea in 2023.

This movement has existed in our country for more than half a century. It is aimed at providing assistance to the elderly, children and veterans of the Great Patriotic War, as well as improving public areas. On the territory of Simferopol, the guys will help in the park named after Yuri Gagarin. I wish you success, unity and personal growth,” commented Mikhail Afanasyev.

In total, more than 500 people in 20 groups will take part in the action on the territory of the Republic. Students of higher educational institutions of Simferopol traditionally became commanders and members of the detachments. The event has been taking place in this format in Crimea for 7 years. For the first time during this time, children from Simferopol schools joined. The promotion will last until February 4.
