The restoration of the Bakhchisaray Khan Palace is planned to be completed this year

Sergei Aksyonov clarified that the liquidation of a lag from the work schedule is currently underway.

The third contractor is already engaged in restoration due to the fact that the previous ones have established themselves irresponsible, undisciplined. The chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Mikhailovich Gotsanyuk holds the situation under control, almost weekly sums up of intermediate results. Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Valerievich Vorobyov recently went to the place with colleagues. This will give our results, and this year we will finish restoration work and reconstruction— said the head of Crimea.

At the same time, Sergei Aksyonov noted that the deadlines for the surrender of the object were transferred, including for objective reasons.

Several times the construction was suspended when the remnants of historical structures were found, artifacts, which required additional research. In general, I note, the work is carried out in such a way as to recreate the palace in its original form, with the preservation of the traditions and culture of the Crimean Tatar people. Thanks to the efforts of the Mufti of the Muslims of Crimea Haji Emirali Efendi and the public advice, we will achieve this goal,- The head of the republic expressed confidence.

During the live broadcast, Sergei Aksyonov also answered questions regarding the 11th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia, the prospects and plans for the development of the republic, the achievements and successes of the Russian armed forces in the special military operation zone, and the security of Crimeans.

Remembering the events of the Crimean spring, Sergey Aksyonov emphasized that from the very first days the fate of the Crimea was in the hands of Crimeans.

These were both members of the people’s militia, and ordinary citizens who went to patriotic actions. In the events of those days, the will of Crimeans, the head of state, all who defended the republic came together. To test this can be lucky only once in a life. I thank our leader and all Russian citizens for their support. We felt that the whole country is with us, that all in a desire to support us on the path to historical justice— the head of Crimea reminded.

Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that today the Republic of Crimea and its inhabitants are not threatened.

Fighters of territorial defense units, together with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, other law enforcement agencies, and law enforcement agencies do everything to ensure the safety of Crimeans. No land operation threatens us. The enemy spends strength to annoy us, but understands that he cannot radically change the situation— noted the head of the republic.

According to Sergey Aksyonov, guarantees of the safety of Crimea and Russia as a whole are a matter of strength and capabilities.

History shows that it is impossible to believe any promises of the enemy. Today they respect only the strength and ability of the state to protect national interests and citizens. We are confident in our leader. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is deeply immersed in all aspects and will certainly make the right decisions for the benefit of our large country. The decisions that the president made in relation to the peninsula in 2014 have already shown how effective and correctly he acts, correctly chooses approaches, strategy and tactics— believes the head of Crimea.

In conclusion, Sergei Aksyonov spoke about the importance of maintaining the interethnic and interfaith world and consent in Crimea.

Crimeans side by side have passed a lot of tests, with great respect and understanding relate to each other’s traditions and customs. No one will be able to change this.
