CrimeaPRESS reports:
In the 2022 year, according to Rector Andrey Falaleev, Crimean Federal University significantly improved its positions in national and international rankings, implemented a number of major projects within the framework of the state program “Priority 2030”, aimed at developing the main industries of the Republic of Crimea, and the university plans to actively work on the training of engineering personnel. The results of the annual work were presented by the rector of the Crimean Federal University at the Supervisory Board, which was held under the leadership of the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov. Thus, the work of the Crimean Federal University within the framework of the program «Priority 2030» is aimed at the development of such industries as agriculture, medicine, sanatorium and resort rehabilitation, and the socio-cultural sphere.
Many projects are implemented jointly with the Government of the Republic of Crimea under the direct patronage and with the help of Sergey Valeryevich Aksyonov. One of the significant projects this year was the opening of the Tavrida cave and the creation of a tourist route. In just four months of operation, it was visited by more than 40 thousand residents and guests of Crimea. We plan to develop this site as one of the points of attraction on the peninsula. In addition, the cave will become a popular science platform, as it has preserved the paleontological remains of those animals that lived in the Crimea more than a million years ago. I hope that schoolchildren from all over Crimea and the country will come here to study history, biology, ecology , — quotes the press service of the university Andrei Falaleev.
According to him, an important direction in the development of the Crimean Federal University next year will be the training of engineering personnel.
Engineering training in the Crimea and throughout Russia is now becoming especially relevant. Many efforts will be aimed at maintaining the country’s technological sovereignty and developing industry in Crimea. Now enterprises in Simferopol, Feodosia, Kerch are starting to develop in a completely different way. Crimean Federal University has opened a new branch in Feodosiya, because this part of Crimea has always been more industrialized. Also, the university is now creating new laboratories for the study of microelectronics, radio engineering, engineering design, and technological training. We understand for sure that the development of the entire civilization, of course, is tied to an engineer x, — Andrey Falaleev notes.
In addition, the rector of the peninsula’s leading university noted that in the 2022 year, the university significantly improved its position in national and international rankings, and increased the number of foreign students. And one of the most significant was the victory of the team of the Crimean Federal University in the National Student Football League. Crimean football players became champions of the NSFL for the third year in a row, which was not possible for any team before.
