The results of public observation during the presidential elections were discussed in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A round table was held at the “Boiling Point” of Northern State University to discuss the report of the NOM Association “Elections of the President of the Russian Federation on March 15-17, 2024: results of public observation.”
526 public observers were accredited at polling stations, the Independent Public Monitoring portal received almost 2,000 reports about what actually happened at the polling stations, and not a single violation was identified. The public observation center was technically opened on March 14 and fully operational on March 15, it became a center of attraction and a discussion platform — it was visited by the governor of Sevastopol, the chairman of the Legislative Assembly, State Duma deputies, Russian senators from Sevastopol, representatives of candidate parties, international observers came, active residents came Sevastopol, which I think is very important— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the Center for Public Observation Sergei Yukhin.
Also in Sevastopol, a situation center was created, a telephone hotline and a chatbot operated in order to receive information about possible violations. The questions asked concerned technical aspects: where to vote, how to register for remote electronic voting, and others. Not a single complaint about unlawful actions of the election commission was received.
On the part of the Ukrainian Nazi regime, there were attempts to disrupt the work of the election commission, there was false information about mining in TECs and PECs, but the electoral process was not interrupted, the security forces worked harmoniously — dog handlers with dogs arrived very quickly, checked for explosives, this did not harm the electoral process in any way process, and the expression of will took place honestly, openly, according to the lawnotes Sergei Yukhin.
Elections to the Legislative Assembly will be held in the fall, so the Public Observation Center continues to work.
