Today, at a staff meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the results of road activities in 2023 were summed up.
A lot has really been done, and the main thing is that everything was done on time. This year’s road program has been completed, we are now contracting new facilities and are already starting work for 2024. Taking into account that we have accepted the budget, we can negotiate,” commented Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The repair of highways was carried out within the framework of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”, as well as the federal program “Promotion of the development of highways of regional, intermunicipal and local significance”.
Thanks to the rapid implementation of planned activities, based on the results of the first half of the year, Sevastopol was allocated 600 million rubles from the treasury loan. These funds were used to advance the goals of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”. Sevastopol was among the regions that completed the national project work program ahead of schedule and achieved the best results— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the department of transport and development of road transport infrastructure Stanislav Tamataev.
At the end of the year, work was completed on 228 objects with a total length of 97.7 km:
- within the framework of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” — 220 objects with a total length of 92 km, including 90 objects with a length of 35.5 km were completed with additional funds from the treasury loan;
- within the framework of the federal program “Promotion of the development of highways of regional, intermunicipal and local significance,” eight facilities with a length of 5.5 km were repaired.
Every year we try to pay attention to roads in rural areas and at the approaches to them. This year, work was carried out in the settlements of Kacha, Andreevka, Osipenko, Verkhnesadovoe, Kamyshly, Dalnee, Sugar Head, Sturmovoye, Goncharnoye, Shirokoye. Entrances to gardening associations were also brought to standard conditionsaid Stanislav Tamataev.
The roads that lead to gardening partnerships were given special attention at the meeting.
We need to focus on these roads; a very serious request is coming from city residents. Residential areas have grown, and in fact they are already entire neighborhoods. Look at how many roads need to be done next year, make a schedule, set priorities and start putting them in order,” the head of the city instructed.
And about. Deputy Governor Evgeniy Gorlov noted that the Department of Municipal Affairs is now conducting an inventory of roads and putting them on the balance sheet.
In parallel with our colleagues, we are filtering the entire inventory; we will still take some of the roads to the Department of Transport. That is, we will make a division: where the roads are inside the residential area, they will be dealt with by the Department of Municipal Affairs, all access roads will be listed as intra-block roads, we have already prepared all the regulatory documents for them and will put them in order, — said I. The renovation of 85 facilities with a length of 43.5 km is tentatively planned for 2024. 935 million rubles have been allocated to carry out work within the framework of the national project. In the new year, it is also planned to repair three artificial structures with a length of 313 linear meters. m, the contracting procedure is currently underway.
Since last year, measures have been launched at the federal level to bring artificial structures to standard conditions within the framework of the national project. To achieve the 2023 targets, four bridges were repaired and the overpass on the Hospital Descent was overhauled. All facilities have been completed and put into operation,” the head of the relevant department emphasized.
This year, the road to the Victory Park embankment was put into operation, which includes the street. Pilots, access to the park and parking for 600 cars. Also in 2023, work was completed at three road overhaul sites: st. Chelnokova, Pobedy Ave. – st. Gorpishchenko, entrance to the Alkadar station.
This year we also began a major overhaul of the underground pedestrian crossing on the street. Heroes of Sevastopol, stop “Sailor Cat,” emphasized Stanislav Tamataev.
As part of the state program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol”, two facilities were put into operation this year:
- overpass «Simferopol — Bakhchisarai — Sevastopol»;
- outdoor lighting facilities on the section of the road from the Yalta Ring to the Presidential Road.
The construction of the eighth stage of the Tavrida highway is now at the completion stage. It is also planned to complete the construction of elevated pedestrian crossings on Kamyshov Highway by the end of the year. Work continues on the street. Captain’s and transport interchange at the intersection of the highways «Sevastopol — port of Kamyshovaya Bay» («Cucumber»). This year, construction of a transport connection between Stoletivsky Prospekt and Taras Shevchenko Street also began.
