The results of the All-Russian Environmental Forum “EcoTOP” were summed up in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Crimea, within the framework of the All-Russian Forum of Student Teams “EcoTOP”, a large-scale initiative was launched to create student environmental teams to work at natural reserve sites.
The creation of student environmental teams in Crimea is an important step towards preserving nature and improving the environmental situation in the region. Young people taking part in environmental forums not only gain valuable experience working on natural sites, but also contribute to the preservation of the unique ecosystem of Crimea.
The EcoTOP forum emphasized the importance of youth awareness of environmental issues and nature conservation, promoting the formation of a careful attitude towards the environment. During the event, issues of employment of students in the areas of environmental education and environmental activities were discussed. Options for employing students as seasonal personnel at natural reserve sites and in forestry are also being considered.
It is important to note that students’ participation in environmental projects helps them develop a responsible and caring attitude towards the environment. This allows not only to preserve the wealth of nature for future generations, but also to create conditions for the development of ecotourism and environmentally friendly technologies in the region. The cooperation of student teams with government authorities and environmental organizations makes it possible to solve current environmental problems and take specific measures to eliminate them. This helps not only to preserve the region’s unique natural sites, but also to provide favorable living conditions for the local population— shared the head of the Crimean regional branch of Russian student groups Vladimir Kaidansky.
As part of the strategic session, 200 forum participants developed proposals that this year will help throughout the country to employ at least 20 student environmental teams both in the service system of hotel facilities and in specially protected natural areas.
There is currently a shortage of personnel in the field of nature conservation and ecology. We hope that student teams, as part of seasonal employment, and subsequently permanent ones, will help eliminate this shortage. Systematic work to attract student labor groups to work in hotel farms, specially protected natural areas and forestry lands will contribute to the development of standardized recreational activities in park areas and the mountain forest part of Crimea, — notes the commissioner of the student service squad “Nova” Tatyana Chayun.
