The results of the competition “Best public catering enterprise of the Republic of Crimea — 2023” have been summed up

The competition “Best catering establishment of the Republic of Crimea — 2023” took place on November 13 in the panoramic restaurant SIMFERO. The annual organizer of the competition is the Ministry of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea.

This year the Competition was held in six categories:

• “Best restaurant of national cuisine of the Republic of Crimea — 2023”;
• “Best restaurant for local product of the Republic of Crimea — 2023”;
• “Best fast food restaurant of the Republic of Crimea — 2023”;
• “Best resort restaurant of the Republic of Crimea — 2023”;
• “The best restaurant in the urban environment of the Republic of Crimea — 2023”;
• “Best suburban cafe of the Republic of Crimea — 2023”

At the first stage of the competition, public catering enterprises sent applications for participation with information about their activities, and also prepared videos and presentations.

Today, at the second stage of the competition, participants personally spoke about their enterprises, demonstrated videos, presentations and menus, and members of a competent jury evaluated the presented materials according to the criteria. The jury included experts from the public catering sector of the Republic of Crimea: Irina Petrovna Mezavtsova, Maria Vitalievna Malgina, Sergey Karpovich Makeev, Natalya Aleksandrovna Abramova, Alexandra Borisovna Ptitsyna. Based on the points scored by the participants, the results were summed up and the winners in each category were determined.

In the category “Best restaurant of national cuisine of the Republic of Crimea — 2023”:

• 1st place – Ethno-restaurant “Selyam Aleikum” (Yalta)
• 2nd place – Restaurant “Bulba&Salo” (Alushta)
• 3rd place – Restaurant “Foros Hall” (Yalta, Foros)

In the nomination “Best restaurant for local product of the Republic of Crimea — 2023”:

• 1st place – Restaurant “Dorado” (Alushta)
• 2nd place – “Crimea and Rome” (Evpatoria)
• 3rd place – Markur cheese workshop (Bakhchisarai district, Golubinka village)

In the category “Best resort restaurant of the Republic of Crimea — 2023”:

• 1st place – Restaurant “Piazzetta” (Yalta, Parkovoe village)
• 2nd place – Restaurant “On the Roof” (Yalta, Kurpaty)
• 3rd place – Cheese factory “Wonderful Lavender” (Alushta)

In the category «Best fast food restaurant of the Republic of Crimea — 2023»

• 1st place – “Chef Cafe” (near the village of Chistenkoye)
• 2nd place – “Eaty” (Simferopol)
• 3rd place – “82 Delivery” (Feodosia)

In the category “Best suburban cafe of the Republic of Crimea — 2023”:

• 1st place – Snail farm No. 1 in Crimea “Mama Dema” (Alushta)
• 2nd place – “Coffee on Drive” (Zarechnoye village)
• 3rd place – “Oyster Beach” (Sudak, Mindalnoe village)

In the category “Best restaurant in the urban environment of the Republic of Crimea — 2023”:

• 1st place – Restaurant “SIMFERO” (Simferopol)
• 2nd place – “Fishing Village” (Simferopol)
• 3rd place – “Baturina 79” (Simferopol)

The winners were awarded diplomas and symbolic prizes. A festive buffet was organized for the participants, jury members and representatives of enterprises, as well as a performance by pianist Oleg Nikulin.
