The results of the essay competition “My Sports Hero” will be summed up in Crimea on November 22

From September 1 to October 10, the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea (OP RK) hosted an essay competition “My Sports Hero” among children and youth involved in sports and physical education in Crimea. More than 300 essays were submitted to the competition from competitors from different cities and regions of the Republic. This was announced by the head of the Organizing Committee of the competition, Olga Bezuglovets.

The jury is already approaching the finish line. We understand that our competitors are looking forward to the results, but due to technical problems, we are forced to name a new date for announcing the results — November 22, 2023,” noted Olga Bezuglovets.

She also added that following the review of the essays, the Organizing Committee decided to introduce a new nomination in the junior group — “Family Grand Prix”.

According to the Organizing Committee of the competition, many works were prepared without complying with the requirements specified in the regulations of the competition:

– there was no participant data (age, place of residence, nomination, etc.);

– the names of the heroes of the essays and the sports they represent were not indicated;

– the format was not followed (abstracts were sent instead of essays).

As the OP of the Republic of Crimea clarified, the distribution of Certificates of competition participants began on November 11.
