On March 21, the Sevastopol Theater for Young Spectators hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the III festival of acting monologues “Word creation. Children»

From March 14 to 21, young artists underwent creative selection, participated in master classes, and on March 20, on the theater stage, they presented their mini-performances and monologues to a professional jury.

Founder of the III Sevastopol festival of acting monologues “Word creation. Children» became the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization for the Preparation of Cultural and Mass Events «Fairytale Kingdom». The festival was held jointly with the Sevastopol Theater for Young Spectators, with grant support from the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.

The expert jury assessed the children’s skills according to several criteria — expressiveness, comprehension and age-appropriateness of the material. The commission included honored artists:

leading artist of the Drama Theater named after. Boris Lavrenev of the Black Sea Fleet, Honored Artist of Russia — Boris Nikolaevich Talakh;
Deputy Head of the Department of Cultural Policy and Art Development — Evgeny Vladimirovich Boytsov;
expert consultant — Honored Worker of Culture of the City of Sevastopol Irina Vladislavovna Kuznetsova.

The chairman of the jury is Honored Artist of the city of Sevastopol, holder of the Order of Friendship, artistic director of the Sevastopol Theater for Young Spectators — Lyudmila Evgenievna Orshanskaya.

Our festival is called “Word Creation. Children” and the very combination of these words evokes special feelings — the art of an artistic sounding word. And if this word is filled with meaning, feelings, emotions and is broadcast to the audience, then it finds a response in our hearts. This miracle is theater. Everyone who has come a long way — from choosing the material to entering the stage of the Sevastopol Theater for Young Spectators — is already a winner,” Lyudmila Orshanskaya addressed the finalists at the ceremony.

In addition to the professional jury, each of those present in the hall was able to become a member of the audience jury and cast their vote for one contestant. Those who watched the online broadcast and took part in the online voting had the same opportunity.

In the younger age group, awards were distributed as follows:

The 3rd prize was awarded to Anastasia Manzhos, who represented the club formation “TBM Theater Studio”, director Vladimir Solovyov.
Also awarded the III Prize was Mikhail Mikhailovsky, a student of the FART theater studio, director of Abeleva Natella.
The 2nd prize also went to the TBM Theater Studio club formation. It was awarded to the young actress Alisa Pekareva, director Regina Okuneva

Daniil Trifonov, representing the TBM Theater Studio club formation, director Vladimir Solovyov, was awarded the 2nd prize.

Winner of the III festival of acting monologues “Word creation. Children» in the older age group was Varvara Brekhunova, Sevastopol Children’s Art School, teacher Igor Tsvetkov.

The constant favorite of the audience over the course of several competitions remains a student of the school theater of secondary school No. 48 “Ascension” Sofia Kashalaba, teacher. Irina Bogomolova. In 2022, the young actress took part in the Festival and the audience also singled her out among all the participants in the competition.

Serious “fights” also broke out in the official group “Slovotvorenie. Children”, where viewers voted for their favorite participant. Two competitors at once, representatives of the junior and senior groups, divided an equal number of votes among themselves. The festival directorate awarded a diploma to the winner in the “Internet voting” Yaroslav Korol, theater studio “FART”, director Natella Abeleva, and Taisiya Bezrodnaya, club formation “TBM Theater Studio”, director Vladimir Solovyov.

All events of the festival: drawing lots, master classes, competition day were actively covered by the media — television, Internet television, newspapers tirelessly reported.
