The city of Simferopol is the capital and largest city of Crimea, located in the central part of the republic and since 2019 has been an active participant in the implementation of national projects.
Modern education is the key to a successful future for the younger generation of our region and the country as a whole. In the period 2019-2024, thanks to the national project “Education”, in secondary school No. 22 named after Afghan warrior Sergei Berezhny and in secondary school No. 43, “Growth Points” programs in the natural sciences and technology are being implemented.
Education centers have been renovated and equipped with modern equipment. In 2023, a children’s technology park «Quantorium» was created on the basis of Simferopol Secondary School No. 4 named after Marshal F. I. Tolbukhin. Previously, the children’s technology park «Quantorium» was opened on the basis of the Simferopol Academic Gymnasium. The technology park is intended, first of all, for additional education of children in physical, chemical, biological areas, as well as in the field of computer science and modern technologies. IN
All possible equipment and special areas are created to provide children with opportunities to develop their needs and desires in the field of science and technology, which contributes not only to the development of general education programs, but also to the deepening and expansion of knowledge in various disciplines, which will allow children to more effectively prepare for All-Russian Olympiads. As part of network interaction on the basis of Quantorium, children from other schools and organizations in the Crimean capital can study.
Thanks to the resources of school Quantoriums, children have the opportunity to study school subjects at a higher quality level, improve skills in design and research activities, and also, as part of additional education, master such modern trends in the field of science and technology. In 2023, the Regional Center for Identification and Support of Gifted Children opened «Pulse». The site was created on the basis of the Crimean boarding school for gifted children in the city of Simferopol and is the only educational institution in the region for academically gifted children, and is also of great importance within the educational sphere of the Republic of Crimea. Before the opening of the educational center, a major renovation was carried out in the rooms allocated for it.
All classrooms were prepared for classes and new furniture was purchased. Crimean schoolchildren can master the center’s programs during intensive educational shifts lasting from 2 to 3 weeks or through regular part-time and correspondence classes. The Regional Center has been supplied with equipment for studying mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, biology and other sciences. It will include lecture halls, laboratories, and workshops. In addition, athletes will be able to engage in team sports, as well as martial arts and swimming. The center is equipped with the latest high-tech equipment, for example, a “Pirogov 2” table has been installed here, on which 3D objects from the human anatomy course are displayed on a 1:1 scale. Each model can be rotated, viewed from different angles, and enlarged. There is a teaching station installed here, similar to those used in medical schools.
In addition, the center conducts additional education classes in the field of environmental monitoring, general biology, agricultural chemistry, experimental robotics and other areas. Children can also engage in painting and theater arts, learn to play chess, basketball and volleyball. The opening of such centers provides significant support to the educational sphere, as it helps to identify the most promising young people who can achieve outstanding success for the republic.
The first innovative platform for additional education in the Crimean capital opened its doors at the beginning of the new academic year 2023 – 2024 on the basis of the MB UDO “Station of Young Technicians” as part of the national project “Education”. “IT-cube” has its own special atmosphere: spacious classrooms, plenty of functional space and modern equipment. On the basis of the Center, it is planned to organize additional technical education for 300 students from 6 to 18 years old in 6 programs: “Robot Programming”, “Python Programming”, “Mobile Development”, “Cyber Hygiene and Working with Big Data”, “Fundamentals of Algorithms and logic», «Programming in Java». Special equipment was supplied for the implementation of the federal state standard for children with disabilities to Simferopol special boarding school No. 1.
Also this year, work continues on the construction of a primary school block for 170 places, which is being built under the national project “Education” on Kechkemetskaya Street on the basis of the Tavrichesky school-gymnasium No. 20 named after St. Luke of Crimea. Currently, installation of window blocks, preparatory work on finishing the facade and interior finishing work are underway.
The activities of the national project “Culture” are also being actively implemented in Simferopol. In 2019, the Simferopol Art Museum launched a free multimedia guide with augmented reality technology based on the Artifact platform. The multimedia guide includes 34 exhibits from the museum’s permanent collection. Also in 2019, the largest virtual concert hall in Crimea was opened at the Simferopol Music College named after. P.I. Tchaikovsky, designed for 628 spectators. The virtual concert hall hosts video broadcasts of cultural events from various stages across the country, thematic programs of musical art, concerts of classical and contemporary music from leading halls in Russia and the world.
In 2020, the Simferopol Children’s Music and Choral School and the State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Simferopol Music College named after. P.I. Tchaikovsky.» The Simferopol Music School purchased a double bass, drum, button accordions, lighting and sound equipment, and music literature. Modernization of educational institutions in the cultural sphere will allow young musicians to improve their talent and performing skills with the help of new instruments and equipment. New equipment was also provided to the State Academic Musical Theater of the Republic of Crimea, the Simferopol Art Museum and the Crimean Academic Russian Drama Theater named after. M. Gorky. Thanks to federal funding from the national project “Culture”, the musical theater is adequately equipped with sets of radio microphones, an assistant director’s remote control, LED spotlights and a projector lamp. Modern sound and lighting equipment appeared: sound speakers, subbuffers and a sound amplifier.
In 2023, a major overhaul of the Children’s Choreographic School of the city of Simferopol was carried out. Work was completed to replace water supply networks and drainage, power supply, heating and ventilation, interior and exterior decoration, etc.
And already this year, the Crimean Tatar State Academic Music and Drama Theater thanks to the national project “Culture”. completed the installation of a simultaneous translation system. Thanks to new opportunities, the Crimean Tatar Academic Music and Drama Theater will become a center of attraction in the cultural life of the peninsula. From now on, representatives of different nationalities will be able to explore Crimean Tatar culture, theatrical art and get new impressions from their leisure time. Musical instruments and educational materials were supplied to the Crimean Art School named after. N.S. Samokish and Simferopol Children’s Music School No. 2 named after. Alemdara Karamanova.
The Republic of Crimea is confidently moving towards improving the quality of the road network, actively implementing the national project “Safe Quality Roads” and bringing real changes to the infrastructure of the peninsula. Bridges and overpasses are being updated, new and best technologies are being applied. When implementing the national project, special attention is paid to areas leading to socially significant objects. In 2024, the five-year cycle of implementation of national projects, which began in 2019, ends. As part of the repair of road surfaces and bridge crossings aimed at increasing the level of traffic safety and improving the quality of life of the population, 21 sections of regional and intermunicipal roads with a total length of 17.3 km and 6 artificial road structures with a length of 384 linear meters were brought into standard condition.
On the Eastern Bypass highway of Simferopol in 2022, work was carried out to repair the left and right artificial road structures. As a result of the repair of overpasses, the safety of vehicle traffic both on artificial structures and in the space under the bridge has been ensured, and their technical and aesthetic condition has been improved. Technical passages intended for the evacuation of people in case of road accidents have been restored. The illumination of road sections has been increased due to the installation of modern lighting devices. The overhead power line has been replaced by lighting cables running in trays. The modern design of artificial structures was applied through the installation of railings made of modern composite materials. The surfaces of the reinforced concrete supports are covered with an anti-vandal coating and a new asphalt concrete pavement of the roadway is laid.
The implementation of improvement projects allows us to create an atmosphere of comfort and safety in which people of different ages equally enjoy living, working and actively relaxing. Simferopol has become one of the leaders in improving recreation areas for citizens within the framework of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”. Work was carried out to create points of attraction in new recreation areas in 17 public areas.
In 2024, after reconstruction, the Catherine Garden was opened. The city’s oldest walking area has received a new look. Almost 8 thousand square meters were paved here with paving slabs. A special feature of the park are 9 fountains, 7 of which are equipped with new lighting. The largest is cascading. Because of its special colors, residents of the capital call it “Chess”. The fountain was equipped with artistic lighting. The Pushkin Fountain was also installed in memory of the great poet’s visit to Simferopol in 1820. This element harmoniously complements the large composition of several fountains in the busiest part of the park. A sports ground with a separate stand for up to one hundred spectators, decorative gabions, an amphitheater and an updated rotunda also appeared. For security, CCTV cameras have been installed throughout the territory. The park will be maintained daily by city utility workers. Large-scale landscaping was carried out for the first time in 50 years.
Earlier, in 2023, a square named after V.I. was opened in Simferopol after a major renovation. Lenin. Fountains and cast-iron fencing have been restored at the site, places for recreation and walking have been created, a children’s play complex and an antique colonnade have been installed. The square is equipped with new lighting and video surveillance systems.
And in the Children’s Park of Simferopol, thanks to the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, the first scientific playground for children was opened, where through play children can develop physically and intellectually, master important skills, and get acquainted with the achievements of domestic science. At interactive complexes, children learn in a playful way about the achievements of domestic science and the work of scientists. There are game objects in 5 thematic areas of science: space, ecology, ocean, music and agronomy. Through play, children can not only have fun, but also learn important skills and gain new knowledge.
One of the most important areas of the national project “Health” is the fight against cardiovascular diseases. High quality of medical care is achieved through the retrofitting and re-equipping of institutions. Over the years of implementation of the national project, 213 units of medical equipment were supplied to the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Simferopol City Clinical Hospital No. 7”, and to the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Republican Clinical Hospital named after. N.A. Semashko» — 177 units of medical equipment. The “Regional Center for the Organization of Primary Health Care of the Republic of Crimea” was created on the basis of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Crimea “KMIAC”. 2 regional medical organizations providing assistance to patients with cancer have been re-equipped: GBUZ RK «Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital» and GBUZ RK «KROKD named after V.M. Efetov”, in which more than 329 units of medical equipment were put into operation.
Early detection of cancer significantly increases patients’ chances of successful treatment. One of the key areas in increasing the early detection and diagnosis of cancer is the organization of outpatient cancer care centers. Thus, in 2019, one such center was opened on the basis of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Simferopol Polyclinic No. 2” within the framework of the national project “Healthcare”. To create favorable conditions for improving the provision of medical care, 6 units of road transport were supplied. And in order to ensure accessibility and create a modern infrastructure for providing medical care to children, 33 units were delivered in 2019-2020. medical equipment.
The construction of new clinics within walking distance of residential buildings is the region’s top priority, which will reduce the burden on existing healthcare institutions and increase the availability of medical care for residents of the relevant areas. This year, work continues on the construction of a clinic on Balaklavskaya Street, which will become a structural unit of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Simferopol City Clinical Hospital No. 7”. According to the project, the building will be divided into blocks with separate entrances and designed for 250 visits per shift.
Also, over the years of implementation of the national project, 2 sets of sports equipment in the form of small sports uniforms and 9 sports grounds for physical education and sports and preparation for the implementation of standards were improved in the GTO.
The most important task today is to create favorable conditions for citizens to engage in physical education and sports. Within the framework of the national project “Demography”, great importance is attached to the development of the material and technical base of sports schools in the region. At the expense of federal funds, Simferopol sports schools can significantly update their inventory and equipment every year. Over the years of implementation of the national project, 24 sports grounds have been installed for playing sports and preparing for the implementation of GTO standards, etc. Also, various other sports equipment for sports institutions is supplied annually. The material and technical base of sports facilities has been improved in 3 institutions of Simferopol: GBU DO RK «Sports School» Martial Arts Center «Crimea-SPORT», GBU DO RK «Sports School No. 3» and GBU DO RK «Sports School No. 5».
Ensuring maximum accessibility of preschool education and making it modern and comfortable is one of the main goals of the Demography national project. During the period of participation in the national project, starting in 2019, 2 kindergartens were built in Simferopol: in the “City of Peace” microdistrict for 260 children and “Crimean Rose” for 200 children. At the same time, it is important not only to create new places and new kindergartens, but also to make them as comfortable as possible for children. Therefore, when creating a new generation of kindergartens, modern technologies are used in design, architecture and interior decoration.
20 enterprises were able to successfully ensure in practice the growth rate of labor productivity and the introduction of lean production practices under the national project “Labor Productivity” in Simferopol. For six months of work at FODI LLC on optimizing the processes of acceptance and shipment of preferential medicines at the storage warehouse, the following results were achieved: a decrease in work-in-process inventory by 37%, a reduction in process time by 72%, and an increase in productivity by 449%.
As part of the implementation of the national project at the Lady+ company, which occupies a leading position in the market of goods for the construction industry in the region, the pilot stream was the optimization of the production of sales and products from profile pipes. Thus, together with the working group, more than 120 ideas were developed to improve the company’s work. The following indicators were achieved: process time was reduced by 33%, work in progress by 41% and output increased by 20%.
