The results of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition «Family of the Year — 2023» were summed up in Sevastopol

Today the final of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition «Family of the Year-2023» took place. Its goal is to form a positive image of the family, promote traditional family values, identify and honor families that preserve the spiritual and moral foundations of family relations. This year, 26 families took part in the competition, nine reached the final.

The competition is held in our city for the sixth time, it started in February and annually brings together talented, active families who keep family values ​​and want to share their experience. We thank all participants for their efforts, desire to win and a lot of positive emotions. And it is especially pleasant that children also take part in such a competition, parents are a great example for them, — says Irina Mochalova, director of the Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children, chairman of the competition committee of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition «Family of the Year 2023».

In the nomination «Large family» the finalists were the families of Galanin, Kozlovsky, Konshin; in the «Young family» nomination — the families of Labuta, Chikalko, Pirovs; in the nomination «Family Dynasty» — the Danilov, Kamenetsky, Pankov families.

Having learned that this year the competition «Family of the Year — 2023» will be held in Sevastopol and having familiarized myself with the requirements, I realized that we can take part in it. In the evenings I was engaged in the preparation of a portfolio — I wrote the history of our family, selected photographs. When I received a letter in the mail that we had made it to the final, I was very happy and began to complete the final task — preparing a video about memorable places in Sevastopol. My husband is now in the zone of a special military operation, so I filmed the video with my sons and added pictures of my husband— says Ekaterina Labuta, finalist in the Young Family nomination.

Today, the winners of the regional stage of the competition in each nomination were determined, they were the Kozlovsky family (Large Family nomination), the Labuta family (Young Family nomination) and the Danilov family (Family Dynasty nomination). The winners of the competition and all finalist families received diplomas, thanks and valuable gifts from the Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children, the Legislative Assembly, and the Union of Women of Russia public organization.

The documents and portfolio of the winning family will be sent to the Fund for Supporting Children in Difficult Life Situations to determine the winners already in the All-Russian competition. Based on the results of the competition, a national book is published — a chronicle of the winning families.

Recall that the All-Russian competition «Family of the Year» in the Russian Federation has been held since 2016. The organizers of the competition are the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation and the Fund for Support of Children in Difficult Life Situations. Regional stages have been held in Sevastopol since 2018.
