The results of the regional stage of the “Family of the Year — 2024” competition were summed up in Sevastopol

The final of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition “Family of the Year – 2024” took place in Sevastopol. This year, 18 applications were submitted to the competition, and 18 families were allowed to participate. The purpose of the competition is to form a positive image of the family, promote traditional family values, identify and honor families that preserve the spiritual and moral foundations of family relationships.

The competition is being held in our city for the seventh time and annually brings together talented, active families who cherish family values ​​and want to share their experience. We are grateful to all participants for their efforts, desire to win and a lot of positive emotions. And it’s especially nice that children also take part in such a competition; parents are a great example for them— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children, the chairman of the competition committee, Irina Mochalova.

In the “Large Family” nomination, the finalists were the Khlopunov, Naydenov, Kurtukov families; in the “Young Family” nomination – the Pilipchuk, Tupikov, Tensin families; “Family Dynasty” – the Pankov, Maslov, Gromov families.

The Pankov dynasty is participating in the competition for the second time.

It was my idea to take part in the competition; in our generation, two dynasties working with wood came together. Now we have created a carpentry workshop to preserve the memory of our ancestors,” shared finalist of the “Family Dynasty” nomination Yulia Pankova.

The winners of the regional stage of the competition in each category were:

• “Large family” – the Kurtukov family;
• “Young Family” – the Tupikov family;
• “Family dynasty” – the Gromov family.

The winners of the competition and all finalist families received diplomas, gratitude and valuable gifts from the Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children, the Legislative Assembly, and the Women’s Union of Russia.

The documents and portfolios of the winning families will be sent to the Fund for Supporting Children in Difficult Life Situations for participation in the All-Russian competition. Based on its results, it is planned to publish a national chronicle book about the winning families.

Let us remind you that the All-Russian competition “Family of the Year” has been held in Russia since 2016. The organizers of the competition are the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation and the Fund for Support of Children in Difficult Life Situations. Regional stages have been held in Sevastopol since 2018.
