The results of the “White Flower” campaign were summed up in Simferopol. The final chord of the charity marathon sounded in the capital’s gymnasium No. 1 named after. I.V. Kurchatova.

As the organizers emphasized, Simferopol annually takes an active part in the White Flower charity event, within the framework of which fairs are held. Proceeds from the sale of crafts, drawings and other works are donated to charity. The administration of the Crimean capital provides comprehensive assistance in carrying out the campaign, which is aimed at helping parents and children faced with a difficult life situation.

48 schools, 71 preschool institutions, 50,000 children in schools who heard, felt, helped, responded and did a good deed. And I would like good deeds to be done not only according to command, according to plan, but always according to the call of the heart. Let help to those who need come from the heart, from the soul. I thank, of course, the parents, because each parent committee was able to provide their soul, heart, and financial support and donate it to the construction of a children’s hospice. Let everyone’s heart be open, let every child have happiness. In the hand, head, heart, not of chosen people, but of each of us. Once again, hurry to do good— said the deputy head of the administration of Simferopol — head of the education department Tatyana Sukhina.

Well, the final event of the action was a thematic ball in the first gymnasium: young ladies appeared before the guests in exquisite dresses and jewelry, and young people in tails and suits reflecting different milestones of history.

The high school students demonstrated their talents: they recited poems, performed song numbers, and the sounds of the violin were also heard in the assembly hall.

A lot of traditions have arisen in our gymnasium. They continue to be passed down from generation to generation. One of them is active participation in charity events at the All-Russian, regional and municipal levels. Under the patronage of the board of trustees, there is a volunteer team that actively participates in all charitable events. Our treasury of good deeds is replenished every day with charitable deeds. And our meeting today is a continuation of that glorious tradition of mercy and charity in Russia, in the Republic of Crimea, in our glorious city and in our gymnasium,” noted the director of the educational institution, Irina Grebennikova.
