The road between Crimea and Kherson region has become wider
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The road on the administrative border between Crimea and the Kherson region has been expanded to four lanes to organize a more convenient passage through the Dzhankoy checkpoint. This was announced by the Acting Governor of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo.
The repair of access sections to the Dzhankoy automobile checkpoint has already been completed. The road has been widened to four lanes, making it possible to separate traffic flows. Now the passage of the checkpoint for citizens in cars and passenger buses takes much less time than before and has become much less tiring— wrote Balance in his Telegram channel.
According to him, a major overhaul of the 67-kilometer section of the road passing through the territory of the Kherson region is currently being carried out.
Work at an accelerated pace is in full swing almost around the clock. More than 150 people and 135 pieces of equipment have been involved, 77% of the route has already been repaired. The planned completion date for the repair work is the end of the third quarter of this year, but it is possible that the work will be completed earlier— said the head of the tagion.
As a result, Saldo is sure, travel to the Crimea and the Zaporozhye region for Kherson residents will be much faster and more convenient.
