The construction of a road bypassing Simferopol on the Donskoye — Perevalnoye section in Crimea is ahead of schedule; it is planned to complete the work and put the facility into operation no later than March 1, 2025. This was announced by the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov.
By order of the President, funds have been allocated and a four-lane road is being built bypassing the city of Simferopol on the Donskoy-Perevalnoye section, 25 km away. The final commissioning date is March 1, 2025. Currently, work is progressing ahead of schedule.— quotes Sergei Aksenov TASS.
The construction of a road bypassing Simferopol is carried out under the state program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol”, the work contractor is the VAD company.
The Federal Target Program for the socio-economic development of Crimea and Sevastopol was adopted in 2014, and later it was reformatted into a state program. The key facilities already created are the Crimean Bridge, an energy bridge, a new airport in Simferopol, two thermal power plants, engineering structures for providing water to eastern Crimea and the Tavrida highway. Last year, according to the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a decision was made to extend the state program until 2027.
