The Russian Foreign Ministry spoke about an alternative to the «grain deal» — sending grain to Turkey

Moscow considers the proposal of Russian President Vladimir Putin to supply Turkey with one million tons of grain to be the best working alternative to the grain deal, which Ankara will have to process and send to countries in need. This is stated in statement The Russian Foreign Ministry on the eve of the talks between the head of department Sergei Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.
The Foreign Ministers of Russia and Turkey intend to work on the parameters for implementing the initiative of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on organizing the supply of 1 million tons of Russian grain to Turkey at a reduced price with the financial support of Qatar for subsequent processing at Turkish enterprises and shipment to the most needy countriesthe Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Lavrov will also remind Fidan that after the deal is completed, all ships going to Ukraine are considered potential carriers of military cargo.
