The Russian Hockey Federation is implementing the Red Machine program in Artek — We are a team!

In the 6th shift, the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia, together with the Artek International Children’s Center, is implementing an additional general development program «Red Machine» — We are a team! This is a full-fledged training camp under the guidance of FHR specialists, here young hockey players are trained according to the methods of the Red Machine Research and Production Institute. The participants of the program were young players aged 14-15 who received the right to travel to Artek on a competitive basis.

The cooperation of the FHR with the ICC Artek began in 2021, and in the 6th shift, the gathering of the Red Machine is already the third “convocation” of teenage hockey players. The goal of the program is to create conditions for expanding knowledge and acquiring practical skills in the field of social and professional competencies of students through hockey. For three weeks, the guys will prepare for the new season with the FHR coaches and, of course, combine active recreation and training— the press service of the ICC «Artek» reports.

According to representatives of the thematic partner of the children’s center, the practical experience of implementing additional general development programs «Red Machine — Reboot in Hockey» and «Red Machine — Path to Success» (in 2020 and 2021) indicates a high level of demand from children, adolescents and parents and hockey coaches. The shift participants get unique opportunities to express themselves in various activities, gain new knowledge about the means and methods of solving social and professional problems in sports, gain experience in emotional and volitional regulation in situations of professional and social interaction.

The educational and innovative potential of Artek ICC and the unique natural and climatic conditions of the location largely contribute to the success of the implementation of additional general development programs. The conditions created in the children’s center make it possible to solve fundamentally new educational tasks of designing a personal education space for self-realization of the individual, and the development and implementation of pedagogical technologies provides new educational results that meet modern challenges.

Young hockey players in Artek received modern equipment, training sessions are conducted using the best examples of modern inventory and equipment. For the participants of the shift, round tables and practical classes were organized with the participation of VIP guests — famous ones, hockey coaches, teachers and scientists.
