The Russians named their favorite cuisines of the regions of the Russian Federation: Crimean Tatar in the top of preferences

Travel Service tutu asked the Russians to tell which cuisines of which regions of the country they like the most, and made a rating of the 10 most popular. More than 1600 people took part in the survey.

The most popular cuisines and dishes:

• Caucasian. Most Russians (43%) prefer Caucasian cuisine, among their favorite dishes are barbecue, kebab, dolma, pilaf, Ossetian pies, khinkali.
• Donskaya. In second place (20%) is the cuisine of the Cossacks, the favorite dishes of Russians are borscht, dumplings, crayfish, bacon, pies.
• Siberian. The top three is closed by Siberian cuisine (8%) with its dumplings and game dishes. Other popular dishes include sugudai, northern porridge, omul, splitting.
• Tatar. The fourth place is occupied by Tatar cuisine (7%), among the favorite dishes of Russians are chak-chak, echpochmak, tokmach, kystyby, horse meat.
• Ural. The fifth place is occupied by the Ural cuisine (6%). The Russians noted that most of all they like the Ural dumplings, laker, fish soup, Gruzdyanka, shanga, Ural jelly.
• Far East — (4.46%). The Russians noted fern with pork, seafood, pasta with ivasi.
• Buryatskaya. In seventh place (4.06%) is Buryat cuisine with its buuzy, bukhler, dambar, omul and sugudai.
• Crimean Tatar. Among the favorite dishes of Russians (3%) are pasties, yantyk, sarma, dolma, kobete, pilaf.
• Karelian. The 9th place (2.48%) is occupied by Karelian cuisine, popular dishes are kalaruoka, sulchiny, skantsy, kakriskuka, Karelian wicket.
• Altai. Altai cuisine closes the rating (2%): kocho soup, Altai cheese, kaimak, Kan sausage.
