The scandal with her partner ended in imprisonment for the Crimean woman. Accused of committing murder

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Leninsky District Court of the Republic of Crimea issued a verdict against a 53-year-old resident of the village. Priozernoye, Leninsky district, for committing murder.

During the judicial investigation, it was established that the defendant and her partner in August 2024, while at home, drank alcohol diluted with water and were engaged in household chores. At a certain point in time, a conflict arose between them, in which the man began to insult his woman and even hit her. She demanded to stop the quarrel. The man did not react to her words and continued the scandal; the defendant went to the kitchen to get a knife and struck him with a knife in the area of ​​the back of the chest on the left. Realizing what had happened, the defendant decided to wipe off the blood and applied the cloth to her roommate’s wound. Later, fearing that she would be prosecuted, the defendant ran away from home to visit and did not call an ambulance. So, the next day in the morning, the defendant and her acquaintance came to their house and found the body of their roommate there, — said the press service of the court.

At the court hearing, the defendant fully admitted her guilt and repented.

The court qualified her actions as murder, that is, intentionally causing the death of another person (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The court, having comprehensively studied the case materials, taking into account the circumstances of the crime, information about the defendant’s personality, imposed a sentence of 8 years in prison in a general regime colony.
