The “School of Young Humanitarians” project was launched in Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Sevastopol State University together with the Crimean metropolis launched the “School of Young Humanitarians” project. The project is aimed at civic-patriotic education, humanitarian understanding of the civilizational foundations of Russia, its values and ideological guidelines through the prism of historical and cultural heritage. Thus, students from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions will be able not only to visit cultural heritage sites and immerse themselves in history, but also to discuss problems that concern them and find joint solutions.

The “School for Young Humanitarians” project is something that is needed now more than ever. In these difficult and difficult times, when the West is trying to rewrite history, we must fight for the minds of our youth. So that they have an absolutely correct understanding of everything that is happening now. And this is impossible without knowledge of history, without understanding and comprehending the civilizational foundations of Russia, its values and ideological guidelines through the prism of historical and cultural heritage. We have already said that New Chersonesus will become a place where new meanings will be born, those meanings that will make our country strong and great. And the “School of Young Humanitarians” is another step towards this goalsaid Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Within the framework of the project, four educational sessions are planned with a total number of participants of at least 400 people. The main discussion platforms where students, under the guidance of experienced experts, take their first steps in the field of social design, were Northern State University, the Korsun children’s center and the New Chersonesos museum and temple complex.

For every educated person, for every student, it is important to know history, historical facts and cultural heritage that characterize the formation of Russia as a state. At one time, the entry of the Crimean Peninsula into the Russian Empire designated the status of the peninsula and demonstrated the process of mutual influence that had been launched much earlier. And young people need to understand how the formation of Slavic writing, the baptism of Prince Vladimir and other key events directly related to Crimea influenced the evolution of humanitarian trends in the development of Russia— emphasized the rector of Northern State University Vladimir Nechaev.

The educational project is being implemented by Sevastopol State University together with the Crimean Metropolis with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
