The season of “wandering” tourists has begun in Crimea

CrimeaPRESS reports:

It’s hot in Crimea. Just lying on the beach is boring. Vacationers go on walks to admire the beauty of the mountain peninsula, wander in the shade of the Crimean forests, find unexplored paths and cool springs… Romantic oil painting. In fact, with such hikes and walks it’s the same story as with swimming in the sea during a storm. If you don’t know the ford, don’t go into the water. And then the lost tourists look for a place where there is mobile communication and call “CRIMEA-SPAS” for help. They say, help, bring us “wandering” to the road, to people. Two stories from yesterday.

At 17:30, the rescue service received information that a man had gotten lost in the area of the Toplovsky convent (Belogorsky district). Rescuers’ help is needed. The duty shift of the Belogorsk emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» went to the scene of the incident.

Upon arrival, rescuers began search operations. As a result, the man was found in the mountains above the 3rd font. He did not need medical care. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea took him to the village of Topolevka in an official car— said the emergency department.

At 18:50, the rescue service received information that a girl had strayed off the path during a tourist walk on Mount Ayu-Dag. He cannot continue moving on his own; the help of rescuers is required. The duty shift of the Alushta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» left for the search and rescue area.

Upon arrival at the beginning of the equipped trail near the Crimea sanatorium, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea moved on foot to the suspected location of the girl. As a result, it was discovered eight hundred meters west of Cape Monastyrsky. The girl did not need medical care. Rescuers took her out of the mountainous forest area and took her in a service car to the nearest stop, from where the girl left for Yalta— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.

As it turned out, the girl did not know the area, did not calculate her strength and time of return from the route, so she found herself in a difficult situation.

Do you remember the key words, gentlemen, tourists? I didn’t calculate my strength. Didn’t know the area. We remove these conditions and vacation, even with tourist walks, will be safe and not “wandering.”
