CrimeaPRESS reports:
In 2024, a center for digital education for children “IT-cube” will appear in Feodosia. It will be created on the basis of school No. 10 as part of the implementation of the regional project “Digital Educational Environment”. 20.7 million rubles have been allocated from the federal budget for equipping the center under the national project “Education”, and the renovation of premises and the purchase of furniture is planned to be carried out at the expense of the local budget.
New and modern “IT cubes” have their own special atmosphere: spacious classrooms, plenty of functional space, modern equipment. The digital education center will include specialized classrooms, an interactive scientific and educational zone, and an intellectual games center, noted the Main Directorate for the Implementation of National Projects. — Digital education centers are designed to increase the attractiveness and accessibility of mastering new information technologies for schoolchildren and to contribute to the training of qualified personnel for high-tech sectors of the economy.
Young Feodosians will be able to receive additional education for free and realize their creative and technical ideas. At a modern innovation site, children will learn programming languages, create mobile applications, and learn how to work with databases.
The center’s teachers will conduct classes for schoolchildren aged 7–18 years in 6 areas: “Programming robots”, “Programming in Python”, “Cyber hygiene and working with big data”, “Fundamentals of algorithmics and logic”, “Mobile development” and “Programming in Java».
Schoolchildren who have completed training on the basis of the IT cube, together with their teachers, will be able to take part in engineering, technical and IT competitions at the regional and all-Russian levels.
