On June 15, in Simferopol, on Ekaterininskaya Street, the second photo exhibition was opened as part of the All-Russian project «The Hero’s Wife».
We opened the first exhibition in Gagarinsky Park in May. This is the second one. I would like to thank our photographer, because the lion’s share of the work actually falls on her shoulders. Thanks to her eyes, thanks to her hands, thanks to her sense of taste and style, we can catch all the moments, convey to the canvas the emotions that we see in our heroines.— said the organizer of the exhibition Alyona Labunets.

The exposition presents portraits of women in the form of their relatives, which symbolizes protection. Each picture is accompanied by thoughts that the heroines shared in their letters to their husbands and sons.
First of all, there is a feeling of pride for our guys, for their courage, their dedication, selflessness. And, of course, the feeling of admiration for these beautiful women, mothers, wives, who provide a reliable rear for their men, believe and wait. I wish them good health, fortitude and, of course, faith that they will definitely return home.— Nadezhda Aksyonova, deputy chairman of the Simferopol City Council, said at the opening of the exhibition.
The all-Russian project «Hero’s Wife» appeared in October 2022 in Samara, with the help of the wives of the Council of the Second Guards Combined Arms Red Banner Army and the ZVEZDA AND LYRA Public Cultural and Social Foundation. The purpose of the project is to show that behind every Russian military (mobilized) there are their women. After all, the wife and mother are the main women in the life of any man.
