The second stage of reconstruction has begun in Sevastopol Victory Park

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Fences have already been installed on the site from Parkovaya Street. But entry into the park for visitors will remain unimpeded, reports the press service of the capital construction department.

The second stage of reconstruction of Victory Park will affect two areas on its territory. The first is 3.6 hectares in the area of Parkovaya Street, the second is 2.6 hectares in the area of Fadeev and Letchikov streets. The entire complex of works on improvement of two areas is planned to be completed by the end of next year.

The cost of the second stage of reconstruction is 713 million rubles. Initially, the work was estimated at 403 million rubles, but the state contract became more expensive due to the design and technological decisions adopted, the capital construction department explained.

Let us remind you that Sevastopolstroyproekt JSC designed and will carry out the reconstruction.

According to the project, the landscaped area will include modular buildings for the park administration, two public catering facilities with toilets, several playgrounds, recreation areas with swings and hammocks, areas for yoga and physical education, a skate park, a pump track, bicycle parking, parking for electric scooters, a gazebo, a green tunnel and a dog walking area. The highlight of the project will be the aqua zone — a complex for playing with water. Almost 10 thousand additional coniferous and deciduous trees and perennial shrubs will be planted in the park.

The project also “provides for the arrangement of an alley in honor of the 200th anniversary of the Black Sea Fleet,” the capital construction agency said in a statement.
